Creative Collaborations Talk Series
The Art Month Sydney Creative Collaborations Friday night talk series commenced with a sellout event at the new Surry Hills Design Centre & Library this week.
Two talks were hosted, the first with Romance Was Born designer duo Anna Plunkett and Luke Sales who chatted with artist Del Kathryn Barton about their collaboration and the cross-overs between the worlds of fashion and art. The lovely Kirsten Galliott, editor of The (Sydney) Magazine, chaired the discussion.
The second talk for the evening saw acclaimed artist and photographer Bill Henson speak with long time friend and musical collaborator Jim Sharman.

Art Month Sydney Launch Party
The inaugural Art Month Sydney launched on Wednesday 3rd March 2010 at Sydney's Customs House on Circular Quay to a packed house of art lovers and enthusiasts.

Install begins for Art Month Windows Project
Retail store windows throughout Sydney will come to life this March with original artworks by local artists as part of Art Month Sydney
The first Art Month Windows Project gets off the ground next week at Incu stores across Sydney. This collaboration has seen Incu team up with artists Kate Rohde and Tara Marynowsky to create bespoke creations to be presented in the Paddington and CBD stores.
Look out for Marynowsky’s collage of watercolour paintings and Kate Rohde’s menagerie of wall-mounted creatures (pictured) appearing from 24th February 2010.

Garden of unexpected delights

17th Biennale of Sydney set to unveil program
David Elliott, Artistic Director of the 17th Biennale of Sydney will unveil details of his exhibition program and artists at a media launch to be held at the Sydney Opera House on Wednesday 10th February 2010.
