Artist Tom Polo helped up the level of buzz at the opening party for Art Month Sydney 2011, held at The Ivy on 3 March 2011.
Wearing a large pair of rubber ears and positioned above the crowd on a raise platform, Polo sent a team of 'listeners' into the party crowd to eavesdrop on conversation. Snippets of those conversations were then entered into a computer program by the artist that say them projected on large-scale screen on the walls of the room.
The live artist performance appeared to have little effect on the level of art world gossip. Catch some images of the party crowd courtesy of Habitus Online.
